The Problem
Even though lighting provides security as one can see and assess another person, it can be threatening when there is not enough space to pass without getting too close to one another. Such intrusion into the “private space” – a sphere where people only accept someone they want to interact with – must be prevented.
Our Solution
Paths shall be at least two meters wide.1
In addition to their advantages at night, they make it easier for groups of pedestrians, cyclists, and strollers to cross one another during the day.
